so far...
So far we are going over the procedure to make sure we have it right. We have done our reaserch paper and we have gathered our materials. The experiment will be conducted tommarrow.

Procedure
Procedure
1: Gather all the materials
2: measure the volume of the jar.
3: make the baking soda solution
4: make the vinegar soltion
5: put the baking soda soulution in the balloon
6: put the vinegar solutioon in the jar
7: Attach the balloon to the jar
8: tip the balloon so that the baking soda soltion mixs with the vinegar solution.
9: make sure to hold the base of the balloon in place
10: watch the balloon fill up with carbon dioxide
11: when it is done tie the balloon off
12: measure the volume of the bucket
13: fill it with water
14: put the balloon in the bucket full of water and measure the water displacement

Question and Hypothesis
Question: How much carbon dioxide is produced from certain amounts of vinegar and baking soda mixed together?
How much heat is produced when the baking soda and vinegar react to each other?
Hypothesis: Azad: I think that the balloon will fill up with enough carbon dioxide to fill the balloon but not pop it.
Danielle: I think that the carbon dioxide will fill up the balloon. Not so much for it to pop but just enough. Mixing the two subtances will create heat.

The Project (Intro.)
Basically our project is about heat reaction. Mixing certain substances creates heat. In our case the substances would be vinegar and baking soda. As some people know when you mix vinegar and baking soda it fizzes up. But it also creates heat. How hot it gets is what we are trying to figure. We are also trying to figure out how much gas that fizzy reaction makes.
